When the temperatures start dropping and the leaves begin to fall, action at the Civil War Ranch shifts into another gear.
Yes, the Wedding Barn & Events Center is still available for all types of gatherings, but as of Friday. Oct. 17, the biggest facility at the ranch – the Civil War Arena Speedway – will open its big doors for Competitive Go-Kart Racing.
Duncan Motor Sports of The Eaglewood Speedway of Joplin, MO, is running the races at The Civil War Ranch Arena Speedway on most weekends in through March of 2015.
The Civil War Arena offers an indoor, heated raceway and spectator seating, which can accommodate more than 200. The Arena also boosts of clean indoor restrooms and good food at great prices in the Speedway Cafe.
Come out to the races and you’ll discover the roots of NASCAR drivers’ love of speed!
Gates open at 3 p.m., and hot laps start at 5 p.m.
- General Admission Adults is $5
- Children 10 and under are free
- Pit Pass is $10
- Kart Entry is $20
The Speedway Café, offering a variety of food choices and snacks, will be open from 3 p.m. to the end of the races each race night.
The Café, located just inside the southwest entrance to the Indoor Arena & Speedway, can accommodate up to 64 guests and has air conditioning and a double-barrel wood-burning stove heater.
